Progressive now using ELD data for insurance discounts

Progressive Insurance has taken the initiative Salon Anew usage-based insurance program that is directly targeting commercial truck drivers. so you’re if you’re an owner or an operator of small fleets that use electronic logging devices this program is now available to you.
Progressive Insurance is not new to the uses bass insurance program they have this available to their regular Auto consumers through its long-standing snapshot program. Their new smart haul ELD program offers any qualifying trucker a minimum saving of 3% is there commercial auto insurance policy in exchange for sharing their ELD driving data. What Quantified this discount is up to an average savings of $1,384 canoe truck customers. Since it’s a new technology for many they may not be quite comfortable with it. but offering discounts to truck drivers who use Eld maybe quite beneficial to both truck drivers and the overall Community. Progressive Insurance collaborated with ELD vendors to launch your smart haul program.
